Hey, I’m Megan.

Megan Dillow is the owner of TX Myofunctional Therapy. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist and Orofacial Myologist. Megan received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Womans University in 2012 and post graduate training in Myofunctional Therapy from Airway Health Solutions in 2024.

As a hygienist, Megan enjoyed educating patients in how to improve their oral health. Cleaning teeth was fun, but education was her passion. In 2016 she had her first child. At a young age she saw signs of him having sleep and breathing problems but was not able to find the answers she needed in how to help him. Everywhere she looked, she was told “he will grow out of it”, or offered medication to mask the symptoms but not truly fix the root of the issue.  Fast forward a few years where she attended a course about children’s airways and it was like finding the missing piece of the puzzle. Megan pursued her education in Orofacial Myology/Myofunctional Therapy so that she can educate her patients on how to improve their oral rest posture and restore proper breathing so they can eliminate the root of the issue they are experiencing and not have to just mask a symptom.  Let’s fix our children’s airways from a young age and prevent many other side effects that come when left untreated.
